Douglass Alumni Invitations:  The invitations will go out next week (week of 4/24)!  We are excited and know you are too.  The invitations will be coming from LCPS and will include information on how to RSVP, where the event will be live streamed, and parking.  Please do not throw away!! 

Both you and your guests will need to RSVP.  The information to RSVP will be in the invitation.  There is a web page link on which you may RSVP and there is a phone number that may be called to RSVP.

Parking:  The parking lots will be identified in your mailed packet.  We encourage you to carpool.  

It is a ticketed event.  Individuals holding tickets will gain access into the gym. The Rededication Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting will be live-streamed at www.lcps.org/douglass.  There will be two overflow spaces on campus, the Shop Building and the PR&CS Recreation Room.  The event will be live-streamed into these two spaces.

Douglass Alumni Invitations:  The majority of the invitations are being sent to DHS alumni.   Each alum will be offered two tickets (sent after they RSVP except for those individuals that have already said they are coming.  Those individuals will receive their tickets with the invitation).  One ticket is for the alum and one for a guest of the alum.  We will also have a “will call” ticket location for those who may RSVP late.

Other Invitees:  Board of Supervisors, Town Council of Leesburg, and Loudoun County School Board; Specific County, Town, and LCPS staff, the press, Thomas Balch Library, and others who have helped make this project a success.  There will be numerous volunteers on site to facilitate the rededication event (parking attendants, ushers, technology assistants, refreshments, welcoming/check-in, program distribution, etc.).
